With heavy hearts, Hoziana Choir mourns the passing of our beloved member, Asinath Mukamusana, who went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2025, after a period of illness. She was born on January 1, 1955, and dedicated her entire life to serving God and uplifting others.
Asinath arrived in Kigali in 1981, accompanying a group of Swedish missionaries. Her mission was clear and simple — to serve the Lord. Just a year later, in 1982, she joined Hoziana Choir, where her voice, spirit, and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
In 1983, she married a God-fearing man who supported her ministry wholeheartedly. Together, they were blessed with five wonderful children, three of whom are proudly following in her footsteps by serving in Hoziana Choir today.
Asinath will always be remembered for her deep love for God, her unwavering compassion, and the way she treated everyone with dignity and kindness. She was a helping hand to the needy, a mother to many, and a faithful servant until her last breath.
Her legacy lives on through her children, her choir family, and all those whose lives she touched with love and grace.
Rest in peace, dear Asinath. Your song continues in our hearts.
