Brief History
Hoziana Choir traces its roots back to 1968, when Rev. Kayihura Jacob founded a small singing group of five members—his wife, two daughters, and an evangelist named Mbuzukongira Gaspard—in Gasave, Kigali.As the group grew, it became active in ministry until 1978, when it split into two: members from Nyakabanda and Gikondo moved to serve in Nyarugenge, while the rest remained in Gasave, forming Gasave Choir.

Since then, Hoziana Choir has flourished, spreading the gospel through powerful worship and outreach across Rwanda and beyond. Today, it is a vibrant ministry of 130 committed singers, continuing to serve God faithfully through music and evangelism.
